Viet Nhat Steel Corporation has just put into use phase 1 of the high-class steel rolling complex in Nam Cau Kien Industrial Park and started selling products on the market.
The project has a total investment capital of more than 2,000 billion VND, of which phase 1 is 1200 billion VND, including 3 factories: High-grade steel billet factory of 500,000 tons/year; Steel coil mill with a capacity of 300,000 tons/year and a high-grade sectional steel mill with a capacity of 200,000 tons/year and a seaport with 430 m of wharf and a cargo yard of 3.8 ha.
Currently, the basic items have been completed and trial production started in April, officially operating from May with an output of more than 4000 tons of billet, ensuring quality standards. According to Chairman of the Board of Directors Nguyen Van Binh, there have been 2 partners signed the product offtake contract, including the Vietnam-Han Steel Joint Venture and the Vietnam-Singapore Joint Venture Company in Thai Nguyen, and opened an export LC at the same time. 5000 tons in July.
