According to data from the trading site Investing.com, the price of iron ore powder 62% delivered in May 2021 has risen to $180/ton on the CME (Chicago) exchange, while on the Dalian - China exchange, prices 62% iron ore delivered in September 2021 has reached 1216 CNY/ton (equivalent to $187/ton).
HRC prices continued their uptrend on April 21 as factories in China increased their offers to chase higher raw material prices. General assessment HRC SS400 steel is being traded in Asia around $900/ton CFR, up $5-10/ton compared to the previous trading day.
According to the notice from Pomina Vietnam factory to the distributors: the price of corrugated iron will be increased on April 26: 500 VND/kg and on May 1 it is 1000 VND/kg excluding VAT. Accordingly, Hoa Sen will continue to increase the price of corrugated iron and box pipes on April 25 to 500 VND/kg. In addition, Hoa Phat also confirmed that it will increase by 1,000 VND/kg for corrugated iron and box pipes on April 23, 2021. It is expected that by the end of April 2021, the price of box steel floor can surpass the mark of 26,000 VND/kg.
